In 1948 just after the war Michele Schiraldi opened a patisserie in the historical city centre, quickly the bar becomes an elegant meeting point for the nobility attracted.
Present
Today the Schiraldi Patisserie is still located in the historical city centre and has become synonymous for patisserie art in Minervino Murge.
Francesco (son of Michele Schiraldi, the founder) and his son Michele Jr, have caught up levels of national and international popularity, exporting to Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, England and Japan.
Today the patisserie runs with the same originality rediscovering old medieval recipes by proposing new ingredients combining territory and tradition with flavour and local products, with the simple ingredients of this earth.
Future
Now with Michele Jr, representing the third generation, the Schiraldi Patisserie still obtains success.
Michele intends to expand the business a broad but without extracting the traditional passion and is currently researching for the possibility to open premises in London, England.
